What is BidNav?

BidNav is a pilot-to-JSS translator. It takes your list of priorities and creates the necessary bid groups to get you as much of what you are asking for as your seniority will hold. The BidNav support team also provides support before, during, and after the bid period.

How much is BidNav?

BidNav is £30 per month per pilot. The price is set based on our experience with the Jeppesen bidding system at other airlines, which demonstrates that proper bidding support under Jeppesen requires more than a software program. Pilots who have used the Jeppesen system for many years find that they still require, and greatly value, ongoing telephone support before and after bidding to help develop bidding strategies and explain roster outcomes.

The BidNav support team is available as needed via email or our UK telephone number. We will respond within 24 hours to all inquiries, particularly when the bidding window is open.

Does BidNav auto-submit my bid to JSS?

YES BidNav CAN auto-submit your bid.

When can I sign up for BidNav?

Anytime! Whether bidding is open or closed, anytime during the month. If you sign up after the 11th of the month, you will be billed for the current bid month immediately. After the initial sign-up, you will be billed on the 11th of every month prior to bidding opening.

For example, if you sign up on February 13th, you will pay immediately for the March bid period. Your next billing cycle will be on March 11th, for the April bidding period.

Is there a contract?

No. Currently BidNav is offered on a month-to-month basis. In months where you do not need to bid for a schedule you have two options. Option 1 is to go into "Skip Bidding" mode, where we maintain your bidding profiles. We charge a data maintenance fee of £5 per month until you return to bidding. Option 2 is to deactivate your account entirely until you resume regular bidding. This option will remove all saved profiles and data associated with your account entirely, and to do this you will need to email us at uksupport@cclsoftware.com or call us at +1 844 4243628 so that we can deactivate your account. With this option, you will need to email or call us in order to re-activate your account when you wish to resume regular bidding.

Can I still sign up for this month?

Yes! You can sign up for BidNav at anytime during the open bid window and use it immediately. Remember that the system will need to take the resulting bid plan and enter it into JSS prior to the close of bidding, so make sure you leave enough time to accomplish this.

I am very senior. Will BidNav help me?

YES! Being senior alone is not enough to guarantee a good schedule. BidNav ensures that you are bidding correctly for your preferences, ensuring that the benefits of your seniority are maximised.

I am very junior. Will BidNav help me?

YES! We have strategies to help you get the best chance of getting the best roster possible. Bidding correctly is always the key. We have built nearly a million bid groups and know the JSS system logic.

What is TripNav?

TripNav is a bid package search engine. It allows you to search for trips via days and layovers, allows you to sort trips via flight time, credit time, report time, release time, trip length and trip start date. You can use TripNav to import specific trips into your bid profile, making it easy to setup a profile in BidNav.

How much is TripNav?

TripNav is £5 per month per pilot if purchased as a separate, stand-alone subscription. It is included with a monthly BidNav subscription at no additional cost.
